Is It Worth Calling a Personal Injury Attorney?

LS Injury Law Personal Injury AttorneyAfter an accident, it’s normal to have questions.

Are my injuries serious enough? Was the other person actually at fault? Will insurance take care of everything? Do I really need an attorney? Do I even have a case?

Here’s the thing: you don’t need to know whether you have a case before you call us.

That’s what the conversation is for.

At LS Injury Law, we talk with people at all different stages after an accident. Some already know they need legal help. Others simply want to explain what happened, ask a few questions and understand their options.

Calling an attorney doesn’t mean you’re filing a lawsuit. It doesn’t mean you’re committing to pursuing a case. It means you’re getting more information before deciding what to do next..

What Does LS Injury Law Do?

LS Injury Law represents people who have been injured because of someone else’s negligence. Our attorneys handle cases involving car, truck and motorcycle accidents, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, wrongful death and other serious injuries.

Our attorneys investigate accidents, gather evidence, review insurance coverage, communicate and negotiate with insurance companies and, when necessary, file lawsuits on behalf of our clients.

But one of the most important things we do happens before all of that: we listen to what happened and help determine whether there may be a case.

You shouldn’t have to figure that out on your own.

Sometimes, There’s More to the Story

What you know immediately after an accident may only be part of the picture.

Maybe an insurance company denied your claim. Maybe you were told you were responsible for the accident. Maybe the at-fault driver doesn’t appear to have enough insurance to cover your injuries.

LS Injury Law has represented clients facing each of these situations.

In one motorcycle accident case, the at-fault driver carried only $50,000 in bodily injury coverage. LS Injury Law identified additional underinsured motorist coverage through four other policies and ultimately helped the client recover $450,000.

In a bicycle accident case, the insurance company argued that a young cyclist was responsible for the accident. LS Injury Law brought in an accident reconstructionist whose investigation showed the driver was traveling too fast and could have avoided the collision. The insurance company ultimately paid its $100,000 policy limit.

And after a client was rear-ended by an uninsured drunk driver, the client’s own insurance company refused to pay the uninsured motorist claim. LS Injury Law filed a lawsuit, and following a five-day trial, the court awarded the client $498,000 in damages, along with additional punitive damages against the drunk driver.

Every case is different, and past results do not guarantee a similar outcome. But these cases demonstrate why it can be worth asking questions before assuming you don’t have a case.

“But Is My Accident Serious Enough?”

That’s another question you don’t need to answer before calling.

Some injuries and their long-term effects aren’t immediately apparent. Medical treatment may continue longer than expected. An insurance company that initially seemed cooperative may later dispute your claim. Questions about fault or available coverage may also come up as you learn more about what happened.

You don’t need to understand personal injury law. You don’t need to know what your claim might be worth. And you don’t need to know exactly what kind of insurance coverage is available.

You just need to tell us what happened.

What Our Clients Say

For LS Injury Law, representing a client isn’t just about the outcome. It’s also about helping people navigate a process that can feel unfamiliar and overwhelming.

Former clients have described the LS Injury Law team as “exceptionally thorough,” while another called LS Injury Law “the ONLY firm me or my family will use.”

That trust matters to us. Our goal is to make sure our clients understand their options and have someone in their corner throughout the process.
