Two Woman Arrested After Drunk Driving in Cortlandt

On Friday night, state Troopers pulled over a car with a suspended registration, driven by Tracy A. Defonce, on Baker Street in Cortlandt. Police discovered 34 year old Defonce of Mahopac was intoxicated, and the breathalizer revealed a blood alcohol content of .13 percent. Defonce is scheduled to appear in court on October 14th at 9am.

On Sunday, Klavidiya Marricco was pulled over at 12:30 in the morning on Albany Post Road, for following too closely and failing to keep right. Police said the Croton-on-Hudson woman was arrested after flailing her arms and resisting arrest when police attempted to take her into custody. Maricco is 37 years old.

The police brought Maricco to the Cortlandt police barracks, where a breathalizer test resulted in blood alcohol content of .14 percent.

She was charged with resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated and misdemeanors. She will appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on October 21st.
