If I was seriously injured by a tool I was using, can I recover from the manufacturer?

 

A: It depends.  If the product was defective, whether due to a design flaw or manufacturing defect, then you may have a case.  Also, if the manufacturer did not provide proper warning or instructions for use, you may have a case against them.
