New York Police Officer Faces Workers’ Comp Fraud Charges

An Albany County man has been arrested for workers' compensation fraud and could spend up to seven years in prison. The man was receiving money for an ankle injury he suffered at work but continued to work a part-time job.

NY Workers’ Comp Board Says Erie County Check Policy Illegal

The New York Workers' Compensation Board has come to a unanimous decision that Erie County's policy of forcing injured workers to come to work to pick up their workers' comp check is illegal. Erie County could face serious fines if it continues this unlawful workers' comp practice.

Survey Shows New York Worker Injury And Workers’ Compensation Rates
